March 1, 2011 – Garlic Ginger Bean Sprouts

I’m all about making dishes with as much taste and as few WW points as possible. It’s kind of a hobby of mine. I like bean sprouts so I decided to make a batch as flavorful as I could possibly get it while still staying at zero points. I came up with this…

Garlic Ginger Bean Sprouts

Ginger & Garlic Bean Sprouts

2 Onions, sliced

1 pack fresh mushrooms, sliced

3 – 4 cups bean sprouts

1 – 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce

1 teaspoon Chinese 5 Spice

1 – 2  teaspoons freshly minced ginger (amount is according to your taste)

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt & Pepper to taste

Spray large skillet with cooking spray, if you don’t care about points you can use oil of your choice.  Saute onions till soft.  Add mushrooms and bean sprouts.  Add Soy Sauce, Chinese 5 Spice, ginger, garlic, salt & Pepper.  Cook all ingredients until a nice caramelized brown.  Garnish with Cilantro.
