This is the Pecan Praline Snack Mix that I modified the other day. The kids love it and for some reason Clarabelle named it Caramel Cha-Chas, so that is what we call it.

Last year I fell in love with Smitten Kitchen’s Sugar-And-Spiced Candied Nuts. .
So I thought I would kick it all up a notch and meld these two flavors together by adding the following ingredients to the sugar/corn syrup/butter/baking soda mixture just before pouring over the cereal and pecans…
1 teaspoon kosher salt (if you’re like me and like salty, add an additional 1/2 teaspoon)
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (you can substitute with a good pinch of cayenne powder if you don’t have smoked paprika)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
