Pessimism

Clarabelle has learned a lot about the Olympics at school this week.  Every day her class learned about a different Olympic sport.  One day they did bobsledding (with low carts in the quad), another day ice skating (with wax paper on their feet in the cafeteria).  At the beginning of the week the teachers re-enacted the running of the torch.  A few of the teachers passed a torch to each other, ultimately handing it off to the school custodian who ran off campus with the torch to take it to Canada.  As he ran by Clarabelle’s class, one of Clarabelle’s classmates leaned over to her and whispered, “This is SO FAKE!”   You gotta love a 2nd grade cynic, haha.
